Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. Now, I don’t look forward to getting toilet paper thrown in my trees…..and I hate being scared - but I do love the decorations and cards.
For some reason tho - Halloween seems to creep up on me and I am just not ready! This year was no exception - I needed to get some cards made.
Concord & 9th makes the best Turnabout Stamps. They now have acetate templates to help with lining them up. As you can see, the possibilities are endless. I could have kept on going with my colors and designs. Square cards were just perfect for this stamp set.
I was going through all my dies the other day and got inspired with the shaker dies that I owned. How simple is that…..making a shaker card with a shaker die! I did not do alot of stamping in these cards - just alot of die cutting…
I have been stitching for years - making pillows, pictures, little things to sit around, ornaments….you name it. I eventually got tired - not of the stitching, but how many pillows does one person need??!! So, I set it aside. I discovered paper crafting about 5 years ago and have been in love. AND THEN I discovered stitching on paper for cards….swoon….be still my heart….
Hyacinths are some of my favorite flowers. And, when I saw this stamp set by Altenew it immediately went into my cart. The layered stamping gives it so much dimension that I never could have created on my own. I used the Altenew laying inks too - love love them as well.
Girls floating in swimming pools holding drinks in a coconut! Can it get any more perfect than that? My Favorite Things has the BEST shaker pouches - I buy all of them every time the come out. This time I made 12 cards. I have a few girlfriends and family members who would love these cards. Wonder who they will be….:)
Holy moly all you cat lovers out there! Even you non cat lovers - aren’t these just the cutest ever! I love the Lawn Fawn Tiny Gift Box. And the add ons make it extra special. When I saw these cats I knew I had to make them - one for every person in the family. We are a family of cat lovers for sure
I seem to be drawn to bright and vibrant colors. It must be summer! All the flowers are amazing right now and everything is so big and awesome!
I have been collecting foiling items for a few months now and today I thought I would try them out. I have been watching quite a few videos on how to use Transfer Gel and Peel N Stick Toner Sheets. It seemed pretty easy….and it was. I dug out stencils that I have not used in awhile……
Every once in awhile a new release will speak to me - the WHOLE release in fact. I just love all the dies, stamps and stencils from this Pretty Pink Posh release. The surf board colors have endless possibilities - and oh so fun to color. Mixing techniques and changing up the backgrounds gives each of these cards a unique look.
