A few weeks ago I made a bunch of cards using Alcohol Pearl Inks. If you would like to see those cards click here. I had so much fun doing them. Usually I throw away all the scraps but this time I did not! And I had a BLAST making these – It was like putting together a puzzle! All the texture you see in the strips is from the Alcohol Pearl Inks. Love love love them!.
I made a bunch of cards for you. Hopefully you will be inspired to save your own scraps and make some of your own!

For all the cards I used –
Neenah 110# Classic Crest Solar white card stock
Gina K Black Amalgam ink (unless otherwise specified)
Misti
Gemini Jr
Fiskars Trimmer
We R Memory Keepers Score board
Tombow Stamp Runner
Bone Folder
Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive

I used Versafine Black Onyx ink for the text on the card front. (I used an embossing bag 1st so that the embossing powder did not stick where I didn’t want it to.) Since the ink does not dry quickly I had time to heat emboss with Hero Arts Clear Detail embossing powder. The Hugs is cut from Avery Elle Simply Said: Hugs die using My Favorite Things Black Licorice Card Stock – stacked 3 layers high for dimension. I used Simon Says Stamp You Got This stamp set for the sentiment strips. The envelope is Techinque Tuesday Snail Mail stamp set. I used 3M tape to pop up the strips.

This is The Stamp Market Paper Hug die and their Hugs & Hellos stamp set. The small sentiment strip is Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words. The envelope is Technique Tuesday Snail Mail stamp set. I used 3M tape to pop up the Paper Hug die.
I covered the front of a 4.25 x 5.5 piece of card stock with Stick It Adhesive. That made it so easy to adhere my strips. After I adhered my strips I cut it down to 4 x 5.25.

I used the Birch Press Designs Big Peace die using Lawn Fawn card stock. I stacked 3 layers together to give it dimension. At first I used Sunflower but I did not like the color (you can see it peeking behind) so I changed it to Gina K Designs Jelly Bean Green. The sentiment strip is Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words. The envelope is Techinque Tuesday Snail Mail stamp set. I used 3M tape to pop up the strips.

This is Simon Says Stamp Hey Love die cut. I stacked 3 layers together to give it dimension. The semtiment is from Simon Says Stamp Sparkle & Shine stamp set (I think it’s been discontinued).
I put Stick-It on a 4.25” x 5.5” piece of card stock, added the strips and then cut it down to size – so easy that way! The envelope is Techinque Tuesday Snail Mail stamp set.

This is Simon Says Stamp You Got This stamp and die set. The envelope is Techinque Tuesday Snail Mail stamp set.

I hope you like all these cards and they inspire you to go out and create your own. I have been collecting scraps and have a ton more to use!
