Did you know that Santa has a REAL mailing address? I mean….like a REAL address? Did you know that the USPS has a program for over 100 years that allows you to receive letters from Santa postmarked from the North Pole? I had no idea. I stumbled upon it while I was writing my ‘Letters TO Santa’ post.
This is what I learned (directly from the USPS website) -
Have the child write a letter to Santa and place it in an envelope addressed to: SANTA, NORTH POLE.
Write a personalized response to the child's letter and sign it "From, Santa."
Insert both letters into an envelope and address it to the child.
Add the return address: SANTA, NORTH POLE to the envelope.
Make sure a First-Class stamp is affixed to the envelope.
Place the completed envelope into a larger envelope, with appropriate postage and address it to:
NORTH POLE POSTMARK
4141 POSTMARK DR
ANCHORAGE AK 99530-9998
We recommend sending Letters from Santa by December 8th so that they can be received by the Anchorage, AK Postmaster no later than December 15th. Santa’s helpers in Anchorage, AK will take care of the rest!
Be sure to share the experience on social media using #LettersFromSanta.
Could it get any easier?
YES. IT. CAN. I have created letters for your children -
One letter includes: A ‘From Santa’ (see below).
For the matching 'To Santa' letter head on over to 'Letters To Santa'.
- I have also created 10 - you read that correctly TEN different Sets of Santa Stationery for you. They each include: 1 Letter TO Santa AND 4 Letters FROM Santa - 1 blank and 3 with messages (all different). Check them out HERE.
My kids always recognized my handwriting (I had to print out labels for their gifts). You might want to ask a neighbor or a friend to write it for you. Or you can download the PDF and print on that directly from your computer!
For FREE - 1 ‘FROM Santa’letter
(For the matching 'To Santa' letter - check out 'Letters To Santa').
It is FREE and you can print as many as you would like - for your own personal use only (do not copy, duplicate, or print for friends - feel free to share this post).
** All you have to do is enter your email below and you will immediately receive the link to download.
It prints on a full sheet of 8.5x11 paper in PDF format (watermark will be removed). Printing AND mailing instructions are included.
Also, as a FYI….
Wouldn’t it be fun if each of your children had a different letter to Santa? Or they could choose the Stationery Set that they liked the best? I got you covered there....and created 10 different Stationery Sets for you and your kids.
Each Stationery Sets include -
- 1 ‘To Santa’ letter
4 different ‘From Santa’ letters
1 blank for you to fill out by hand or print from your computer
3 different from Santa letters (examples are in the images below)
Scroll through the letters below. You will see a sample of the ‘From Santa’ letters.
Clicking on the image will take you to the letters!
Since the examples above are all the ‘FROM Santa' letters (and you don't want your kids to see them just yet!) - head on over to the 'To Santa' letters post - they can see all the designs there. They can then choose for themselves.
Do you know anyone who would love Santa letters? If you do, please forward this post to them. I am thinking a bunch of kids would love to send (and receive) a special letter to Santa - what about you? If you aren’t sure how to forward it let me know - I can help you.
I sure hope your children enjoy their letters. And I sincerely hope that you have a wonderful Christmas. Always remember…Jesus is definitely the reason for the season.
